Keith Dorscht is a registered psychotherapist and an ordained minister who has pioneered brain-based heart level change for thousands of relationships. Keith married Nancy 23 years ago in Toronto, Canada and they now live in Colorado Springs with their six children ages 10-22.
Keith’s professional focus is on helping couples and families reach their relational goals and ‘connect’ at new levels to experience joyful, satisfying, meaningful relationships. He has lead 500+ marriage intensives and served families with an additional 20,000 hours of standalone sessions. Keith has enjoyed presenting to groups that include the Army, Air Force, local government, schools, churches, and communities. Wanting to be a counselor since the age of 13 has not stopped Keith from creating resources that can be used at home to create the same change and results that otherwise are only experienced in his office. Keith works with families and couples around the world via the internet as well as traveling to them often to counsel in a multigenerational format.
Keith believes strongly in the mission and message of Unplugged Family. He is a regular witness to the damage, dysfunction, and conflict that can come from ignorance of and misuse of screens and digital entertainment. A weak and stormy relationship between spouses will greatly magnify the variety of problems families encounter as they try to create and uphold values in the area of screen time and use.
